Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the StaySweep app and StaySweep Pro, provided by ED&EU LTD ("we", "us"). StaySweep is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"); these terms add to it. By using StaySweep, you agree to both.

1. What StaySweep does — and doesn't

StaySweep helps you look for signs of hidden cameras and similar devices using your iPhone's camera, flashlight, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, together with a manual checklist. Its results are indications, not proof:

• StaySweep cannot guarantee that it will find every hidden device. Cameras that are switched off, record to a memory card without a network connection, sit behind filters, or use other technology may not be detected.
• It may also flag things that are not cameras, such as reflective surfaces, indicator lights or ordinary smart devices.
• A "low risk" result does not mean a room is free of cameras.

Always combine the app with your own inspection and judgment.

2. Using StaySweep responsibly

• Use StaySweep in accommodation you are staying in, and only on Wi-Fi networks you are allowed to use.
• Don't use StaySweep to spy on or harass anyone, or in any way that breaks the law.
• Don't damage property or dismantle devices to inspect them.
• If you find a device you believe is recording you, document it, leave, and contact the host, the booking platform and, if needed, the police.

3. StaySweep Pro

• StaySweep Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited Lens Finder and Wi-Fi scans, the Infrared and Bluetooth finders and PDF reports. It is not a subscription.
• The price is shown in the app before you buy. Payment is processed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account.
• You can restore your purchase on your devices with "Restore purchases" using the same Apple Account.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• The free version includes a limited number of sweeps and some free tools. We may change what the free version includes.

4. Updates and availability

We may update StaySweep to add, change or remove features. We aim to keep StaySweep Pro features available, but some may depend on iOS capabilities that Apple can change.

5. Intellectual property

StaySweep, its design, code and content belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app except as permitted by law or the Apple EULA.

6. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, StaySweep is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will detect every device or be free of errors.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the app's results. Our total liability for any claim relating to StaySweep is limited to the amount you paid for StaySweep Pro. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Your rights as a consumer

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how StaySweep handles data.

10. Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date above. Continuing to use StaySweep after a change means you accept the updated terms.
