In short

- There is no account. We don't show ads, don't track you across apps and websites, and don't sell data.

Data that stays on your device
StaySweep's detection features run entirely on your iPhone. We never receive this data:
- Camera and flashlight. Lens Finder and Infrared analyze camera frames in memory to find reflections and infrared light. Frames are not recorded, stored or sent anywhere.
- Local network. Wi-Fi Scan checks devices on the network your iPhone is connected to — their local IP addresses, open ports, service responses and advertised names — to judge whether they may be cameras.
- Bluetooth. The Bluetooth scan reads names, manufacturer identifiers and signal strength that nearby devices broadcast.
- Room checks. Room names, checklist progress, results and reports are saved on your device so you can review them later. PDF reports are created on your device and shared only when you choose to share them.
You can delete saved room checks in the app, or remove all app data by deleting StaySweep.
Data we collect
Anonymous usage statistics
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve it. The app records events such as: onboarding completed, a tool opened, a sweep completed, the purchase screen shown, a purchase started, completed or failed, purchases restored, a report shared, a room check finished, and the app language changed. These events never contain scan results, network addresses, device names or anything you type.
Firebase also collects standard technical information: a random app-instance identifier, device model, operating system and app version, language, approximate country derived from the connection, and session information such as first launch and time in the app. StaySweep does not use Apple's advertising identifier, and this data is not linked to your identity.
Purchases
StaySweep Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your name, Apple Account or payment details. To confirm your purchase and restore it on your devices, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user identifier and the transaction details from Apple (product, price, currency, storefront country, dates and transaction identifiers), along with device and app version. To connect purchases with anonymous usage statistics, the app shares its Firebase app-instance identifier with RevenueCat.
Support email
If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to answer you.
This website
staysweepapp.com does not use cookies, analytics or tracking. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
Permissions

The app asks for each permission only when you open the tool that needs it. You can change them anytime in Settings › StaySweep. StaySweep doesn't use your location, contacts or photos.
Service providers

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We don't sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep data
- On-device data stays until you delete it or the app.
- Usage statistics are kept for the retention period configured in Google Analytics, after which event-level data is deleted; aggregated reports may be kept longer.
- Purchase records are kept as long as needed to provide StaySweep Pro and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
- Support emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request.
Legal bases (EEA and UK)
We process usage statistics on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the app, and purchase information to perform our contract with you (providing StaySweep Pro) and to meet legal obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to a data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office, or the authority where you live. Because the data we receive isn't linked to your identity, we may need information from you to find it. Deleting and reinstalling the app resets the anonymous identifiers. Children
StaySweep is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
